Brighton
Brighton's story is marked by tragedy and resilience.
He lived with his father and brother in Naggalama, where he was subjected to severe punishment after being accused of stealing an egg. In a moment of unimaginable cruelty, his father poured hot water on him as a form of punishment. A concerned neighbor, who witnessed the abuse, reported the case to the Naggalama police. As a result, a criminal charge of child abuse was filed, but after the father heard about the report, he fled with his other son, leaving Brighton to receive medical care. The police were unable to find the father, and Brighton was subsequently handed over to the Department of Child and Family Protection in Mukono. From there, he was entrusted to Good Future and Hope to provide him with the care and protection he so desperately needed.
Brighton needs the warmth and safety of a loving environment that was tragically denied to him. By sponsoring Brighton, you can be a beacon of hope for him, offering him stability, care, and the opportunities every child deserves.
