David

After the COVID-19 outbreak, David’s mother could no longer afford to care for him or pay his school fees. She sent him to live with his father, who was also unable to support him and passed him on to his grandmother. Not long after, David went missing while trying to find his mother.

He was found and brought to Mukono Police Station in March 2022. The Probation Office contacted Good Future and Hope Ministries, and David was placed into care. He was later reunited with his mother and enrolled in the Education Support Program, where he began to recover emotionally and academically.

In January 2025, due to financial constraints and the absence of a sponsor, David was withdrawn from the program. He is currently not attending school, and his future remains uncertain.
