Elijah

Elijah’s early life was filled with instability. He lived with both of his parents in a rented home, but after a serious breakdown in the family, his mother left—leaving Elijah behind in the care of his father.

His father, battling serious health issues and unable to work, quickly realized he could not meet Elijah’s basic needs. In search of help, he reached out to local authorities, and on May 17, 2022, Elijah was brought to the Good Future and Hope Rescue Centre, where he found safety, care, and a place to belong.

Elijah adjusted well to his new environment. He was able to settle into daily routines, attend school, and begin to rebuild a sense of safety. Being surrounded by other children and supportive caregivers gave him space to grow and begin again.

Sadly, in January 2025, Elijah had to leave the education program due to the lack of a sponsor. He is no longer in school, and his future has once again become uncertain.

Elijah deserves the chance to continue learning and growing in a secure environment. With your support, he can return to school, regain stability, and continue building the future he dreams of. A sponsorship can make all the difference—for today and for tomorrow.
