Shirat

At twelve years old, Shirat suffered life-changing injuries after falling into a fire during an epileptic episode while cooking at her grandmother’s home. She lost all the fingers on her right hand except the thumb, and her arm healed in a bent position, making daily life very difficult.

Her father did not seek medical care and abandoned her. Later, Shirat was referred to Good Future and Hope, where she received urgent medical treatment for her burns and ongoing support.

Today, Shirat lives in safety and is surrounded by people who care for her. She has shown remarkable resilience and is slowly regaining confidence, smiling more, playing with others, and dreaming of going back to school.
